On the back of the amazing success of WordViewer for Windows 8 we are now proud to announce the soon to be available Word Editor.
Word Editor is a fully touch optimized Microsoft Word document editor with full support for all the latest document formats.

Well after a busy month, we can now announce that WordViewer 2 is now available in the Windows 8 store.
After Microsoft tried to ban the first version of WordViewer we’ve gone back to the drawing board and completely reimagined it, building in much better support for Word 2013 and RTF documents.
Version 2 also brings a fresh new look and is sure to be as big a hit as the first version.

Microsoft have been in contact today to tell us that the incredibly popular WordViewer app for Windows 8 is being removed from the store. They sent us this rather nice email:

As you can see this is not very helpful so we have reached out to Microsoft for comment but they have so far refused.
We can only assume that that Microsoft are planning on launching their own app and are afraid of the competition. Don’t worry though, we are re branding and re working WordViewer so It will be available in the store again soon in one form or another. Were not going to be bullied by Redmond and their anti competitive tactics are not going to stop us delivering the great software that so many people are enjoying.

We knew it was going to be a popular app but we have been totally blown away by the response to Word Viewer on Windows 8.
Although its only been available world wide for a little over a week, already its a smash. Our download numbers have sky rocketed and people really seem to love it.
Word Viewer has gone straight into the top of the new releases charts and is being used the world over to view print and share documents. We’re really please that people are finding this useful as we feel it really solves a problem on the new wave of Windows 8 devices.
