As has been widely reported in the press, Windows 8 has not been as successful as some quarters may have you believe. As a result, it is with some sadness that today we have to announce that SociaList, the popular social list sharing application will no longer be available for Windows 8. They Windows phone version will also now not be developed.

We have been closely monitoring the usage statistics of our Windows 8 user base and have decided that due to poor adoption of the platform, it does not make economic sense to continue developing this particular line of applications. This is largely due to ever increasing hosting fees and a smaller than anticipated user base.

We are now undertaking a process of re imagining SociaList and hopefully we will bring some news on this soon. We hope to have iPhone and iPad clients available soon and feel that without these the SociaList platform would not have a significant enough user base to make it viable.

All of our other applications will continue to be available on Windows 8 and we are constantly looking at ways to improve access to our range of products across all devices.
